We issued a challenge to students from Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands. And their creativity went into overdrive. It was all part of their Innovation MSc program. Three different groups worked on developing more sustainable solutions for our decorative paints and they recently presented their impressive ideas at our head office in Amsterdam. We’ve agreed to sell our shareholding in Akzo Nobel India Limited (ANIL) to the JSW Group. The transaction includes AkzoNobel’s liquid paints and coatings business in India. The India Powder Coatings business and International Research Center, both currently part of ANIL, will be retained by AkzoNobel under full ownership. Excited to open a new all-electric training center for vehicle refinishes at our Montataire site in France. Able to accommodate 300 trainees per year, it’s equipped with a 100% electric paint booth and features a heat recovery system that reduces energy consumption. The center will enable refinishers to master new techniques and technologies, as well as improving their operational efficiency.
